Days of Beige

Days of Beige explores a young woman’s (Paige) personal journey as she tries to navigate through her limerence-like feelings for another woman (Bee). Set in the backdrop of big, lonely London, the story blurs the line between reality and fantasy as Paige struggles to get out of her own imagination, something that makes her situation even harder.

Days of Beige has been living in my head for many years, and it took me a long time to actually sit down and write the story, but somehow I eventually managed to create a full screenplay, and there’s truly nothing like seeing your thoughts and ideas black on white — suddenly it feels much more tangible. And I’m not stopping here, I am determined to get this story told on the big screen, and I am currently working with a good friend and fellow filmmaker, Ilze Millere, to move this into production. Ilze and I will co-direct together, and since I cannot resist a bit of multitasking, I am also set to play the role of Paige in the film.

Below you will see the first ten pages from the script.
