I have always been a film lover.
As a child, the go-to way for my parents to get some peace was to pop me in front of the TV and put on a film, and I would sit there quietly, fully absorbed into all the different worlds materialising on the screen. Worlds full of fascinating characters and exciting storylines. Worlds where anything could happen.
The beauty with film is that the possibilities are truly endless.
What you can imagine - you can create! And I am creating indeed. My head has always been full of ideas just waiting to be let out. The only problem is, I am a perfectionist by nature, and if the conditions for creation are not right, I will rather wait until they are.
I have reached a point in my life where I have realised that if I keep this approach going, I will be waiting forever, and my ideas will forever stay ideas. It took some time and a shift in mindset, but here I am, in my thirties - not waiting, but creating!
Yes, my ambitions are high, and my budget practically non-existent. But to get anywhere, you’ve got to start with the first steps.
So watch me walk!
Leaving a mark
My latest creation. Despite having minimal equipment and a very limited budget, I was set on making this happen, and with the help of two talented actor friends, we made my idea come to life.

Bystander
A personal project created during lockdown 2020. Just myself and a couple of friends, lots of creativity and an iPhone is all we needed to keep ourselves sane during this challenging time.
